We are looking to hire an SR MANAGER GLOBAL TALENT MANAGEMENT immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

Position Overview:

 

The Senior Manager of Talent designs and implements talent management solutions and programs to support global talent development objectives that reinforce the global mission. Coordinate efforts to ensure that talent management and development initiatives are developed and managed using a data-driven focus to set priorities that are aligned to ongoing strategic imperatives. The Sr. Manager simultaneously executes and manages multiple complex and high-to-medium impact projects that have global and regional, long-range organizational reach. The position is central in the influence of senior leaders to support and drive compliance across all regions globally. The Sr. Manager reports to Director Global Talent.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Actively contributes to the execution of the Global Talent Strategy by managing Talent Management processes, initiatives in areas of performance management, talent identification, development and promotion, onboarding. Develops, manages, and executes a global Talent and Learning projects in alignment with strategic HR priorities. Projects range from program development, key-stakeholder influence, design, execution, and ROI analytics/measurement. Using the Talent expertise and learnings from managing Talent processes, provides insights for the Global Learning team on learning priorities for the organization or specific populations. If needed acts as an internal global facilitator for selected training. Consults with business and HR leaders to understand and anticipate their needs and ensure alignment of Talent and Learning initiatives with global priorities. Contributes to the integration of Talent and Learning to ensure consistent approach to designed solutions and employee experience. Collect, analyze, and maintain data gathered to inform targeted leadership development (e.g., impact of learning programs, diversity hiring and succession planning). Manage the maintenance and execution of the performance management system, including actively proposing potential improvements. Research and assist in the development of Talent Management training programs that focus on enabling the workforce to achieve improvements with priority organizational concerns. Selects and manages external vendors, contractors, manages the budget. Being part of the Talent and learning team can help with other projects and can also support the team to deliver training as needed.

 

Qualifications:

 

Master Degree in HR, OD, Psychology, Business, Education Professional qualification in HR/HRD/Training e.g. CIPD or international equivalent.  10+ years of direct talent and learning or organizational development experience, experience in facilitation and teaching in the business environment 5+ years leading and developing projects with broad scope and reach. Demonstrated experience with strategic planning and forging regional/global alliances. Leadership in strategic planning for talent and learning solutions. Experience leading complex, global, and cross-functional projects for high business impact in multiple languages. Experience building competency models and aligning learning initiatives to model. Knowledge of industry best practices and technologies. Strong business acumen and broad knowledge of business initiatives and indicators. Maintains knowledge of current and future trends in talent management and learning, including technologies/media. Plans and executes global projects and manages a portfolio of projects on an ongoing basis. Excellent consulting, negotiation, presentation, and customer service skills; able to influence without direct authority. Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external business partners, including academic institutions, external consortiums and workforce development boards, and other professional organizations. Coach for enhanced performance and mentors for career development. Effective in cross-cultural environments and working with global customers.

Base Salary: $100,870 - $176,480


Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
