**Description**
The Eastern Operating Unit of Otis Elevator is seeking an assertive, motivated General Manager for the greater Baltimore area. The General Manager will have direct responsibility for service, modernization and new equipment business, including sales, field operations, customer satisfaction and overall general business management. The successful candidate will be instrumental in aggressively growing the profitability of this branch operation to meet or exceed business objectives along with fostering a team building environment.
**Key Job Responsibilities:**
+ Ensuring safety performance by all the salaried and field associates.
+ Meeting all financial performance targets including profit and working capital.
+ Hiring, developing, and managing a group of salaried and field associates.
+ Managing customers to ensure sales goals are achieved, new customers are added to increase revenues, and relations with existing customers are maintained.
+ Responsible for New Equipment sales and bid activity.
**Education:**
+ Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree a plus
**Experience/Qualifications:**
+ 5+ years of combined sales, field operations, and/or branch leadership experience required
+ Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment.
+ Candidate must demonstrate strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers.
+ Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities.
+ Successful candidate should be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software.
+ Strong leadership skills, customer focus, ability to drive results, goal-orientated, with strong time management and organizational skills.
**Location/Relocation**
+ This position is required to be in Baltimore, MD
+ There is a benefit to having a candidate familiar with the market; however, we encourage all interested, qualified candidates to apply.

**Work Arrangement**
+ As the leader of the branch, it is important that the candidate is willing and able to be in the office 5 days a week.
The base salary range for this role is $138,500 to $185,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
