Job overview and responsibilities

As the Senior Manager of IT Application Development, your responsibilities will be to own the modernization, management, and integration of the ETRM systems, focusing on fuel management.

Your role will also involve driving the strategy for modernizing the ETRM systems, focusing on performance, scalability, and security. Applying Agile methodologies and DevOps practices will be key to enhancing the development and deployment processes, aiming for increased speed and quality.

You will be expected to provide hands-on leadership in the design, analysis, and development of scalable solutions. This includes focusing on solutions architecture and driving organizational change. Collaborating effectively with finance stakeholders and various teams within the organization will be imperative to meeting the company’s strategic objectives. Your role will require a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to foster collaboration.

Leadership and Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learningProvide strategic direction and oversight to ensure the successful execution of programs, resource management, and day-to-day operationsEstablish goals for the team and individuals, including performance reviews and career and performance plans Plan for short and long-term resource needs (internally and externally) to ensure the right number of resources and skills are available to meet project goals and deadlinesEvaluate and suggest improvements to the organizational structure, roles, and responsibilitiesCommunication and Stakeholder Management:

Evaluate, implement, and manage SaaS-based solutions and develop in-house cloud-based solutions Identify technical obstacles early and collaborate closely with the team to find innovative solutionsResponsible for escalating, assisting, and following up on resolving issues related to the delivery of technology solutionsEnsure that Agile methodologies are implemented following best practices and that continuous improvements are made as neededAlso, ensure compliance with code scanning and other security protocols during development and releaseQualifications

Required 

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related field7+ years of relevant experienceAt least 1 year of experience leading and developing IT teams, with a strong focus on leadership, mentorship, and team development2-3 years managing ETRM and Vendor Applications3-4 years of hands-on development experience in AWS environments, demonstrating deep proficiency in utilizing AWS services for application development and optimization2-3 years of experience in implementing and managing DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) strategies to enhance operational efficiencies and deployment reliabilityDemonstrated ability to develop applications using .NET and C#. Proficient in using AWS services for cloud-based solutions, including AWS-specific databases.Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle DB, PL/SQL, and AWS database technologies. Skilled in designing and implementing efficient ETL processes.Advanced technical and business knowledge in software development life cycle, quality assurance, project management, and other related disciplines/processesWell-versed in Agile development and requirements management processesMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

Preferred

Master's degreeUnderstanding of system architecture principles, including the ability to design scalable and reliable solutionsRelevant AWS Certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
The base pay range for this role is $137,275.00 to $187,000.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
