In this v role of Sr. Manager, Manufacturing, you will provide strategic oversight for multiple manufacturing lines within the highly technical and complex packaging area. This position is critical to the advancement of AOH’s capabilities and capacity as we continue to scale up production and enable innovation within Amgen’s manufacturing network. **Key Responsibilities:** + Ensure safety and quality standards are always upheld by all manufacturing team members + Lead packaging teams to reliably deliver production targets, increase run rates, and meet yield goals while ensuring compliance with GMP regulations. + Mentor and develop frontline managers and operators, fostering an environment of continuous learning and operational excellence. + Drive process transformation initiatives to support higher efficiency and eliminate non-value-added activities. + Lead operational readiness for process enhancements, including innovative changeover and scheduling solutions. + Collaborate cross-functionally with Maintenance, Engineering, PD, Quality, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on strategic objectives and key milestones. + Perform resource planning, financial assessments, and capacity modeling, ensuring the ability to meet the evolving needs of the long-range manufacturing plan. + Lead initiatives to reduce deviations, improve success rates, and maintain high adherence to disposition timelines. Champion the adoption of innovative tools such as digital control solutions and real-time operational oversight platforms. + Ensure Assembly and Packaging practices (processes & methods) and policies align with external regulatory requirements and internal corporate and site guidelines and procedures + Availability to support the manufacturing operation on Non-Standard Shifts, Nights or Weekends (On call and/or on site) as needed **What we expect of you** We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The dynamic professional we seek is a collaborative partner with these qualifications. **Basic Qualifications:** Doctorate degree and 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device or biotechnology industry. **Or** Master’s degree and 6 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device or biotechnology industry **Or** Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device or biotechnology industry. **Or** Associate’s degree and 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device or biotechnology industry. **Or** High school diploma / GED and 12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device or biotechnology industry. In addition to meeting at least one of the above requirements, you must have a minimum of 2 years experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation or resources. Your managerial experience may run concurrently with the required technical experience referenced above **Preferred Qualifications:** + Demonstrated ability to lead operational excellence initiatives and cross-functional collaborations. + Strong technical acumen in device assembly and packaging processes, with experience in process optimization and scale-up operations. + Experience in fast paced manufacturing environment where issues must be assessed, understood and resolved immediately + Ample knowledge of cGMP Regulations around Sterile Product Manufacturing, Combination Products and other relevant area regulatory requirements + Considerable organizational skills + Technical writing and presentation skills. + Basic project management skills. **What you can expect of us** As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for your professional and personal growth and well-being. The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
