The Sr Marketing & Communications Director is accountable for the development and implementation of the enterprise marketing and communication strategies that align with the company's strategic vision. This role is responsible for driving the enterprise marketing and communications strategy to position the company as the builder and employer of choice, while continually enhancing the company's global brand equity and reputation in the marketplace.

Responsibilities Build a highly efficient team of marketing and communications professionals at the enterprise and local levelsDevelop a one-company, integrated global communications strategy to align with GBC vision and strategic pillars, and lead its implementationResponsible for all aspects of Gilbane’s strategic marketing communications including brand strategy and positioning, innovative campaign development, distribution channel design, alliance marketing, and partnerships with teams across the companyLeverage technology to provide innovative and secure delivery options for communications that  differentiate Gilbane Building Company in the marketplaceDevelop global connectivity campaigns themed around GBC strategic pillars.  Distribute templates across channels such as mobile platforms, video and social media (digital, press etc.) for a localized approachProtect Gilbane Building Company’s brand with reputation management and consistent crisis communications response strategiesWork to differentiate and communicate brand awareness between Gilbane, Inc.; Gilbane Development Company; and Gilbane Building CompanyDeliver an internal and external communications platform that serves the enterprise as well as local geographical offices, market sectors, and vertical businessesEnhance and maintain Gilbane’s brand as a “People First” organization that is committed to delivering the best outcomes to its clientsTravel up to 30% Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree15+ years relevant experience in corporate communications, crisis communications, internal and external brand development, external relations, and media relationsExperience in the Built Environment a plusOr equivalent combination of education and experience

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.    

For Providence, RI this ranges from $235,200.00-323,400.00 plus benefits and retirement program.

For Chicago, IL this ranges from $246,400.00-338,800.00 plus benefits and retirement program.

For Boston, MA and Arlington, VA (DC) this ranges from $262,100.00-$360,400.00 plus benefits and retirement program.

For New York City this ranges from $286,700.00-394,200.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
