Position Location:   Horsham, West Sussex

Position Summary:  

Supervise small teams to work within any of the following ambient and cold chain operational areas; 

Packaging 

Inventory 

Despatch 

 

Key Responsibilities:   

Activities to be carried out in accordance with statutory, regulatory and company policies and procedures 

Maintain good housekeeping and promote a safe working environment 

Highlight and propose solutions to potential Health and Safety and Quality risks, near misses and accidents to Line Management 

Maintain compliance through training and competency programme 

Focus on internal customers (Quality, Engineering, Business Planning) and external customers (Clients, Regulatory Bodies, Contractors, Suppliers) priorities  

Support department induction programme 

Supervise a small team focusing on job and schedule accomplishment 

Support management in coaching, development and training. 

Highlight and improve process efficiencies to achieve business objectives 

Embrace and support process improvement applying PPI/Lean tools 

Undertake any other duties on an ad-hoc basis as required by your Line Manager 

 

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications (Preferred but not essential):  

English GCSE or equivalent experience/qualification 

Mathematics GCSE or equivalent experience/qualification 

Spatial Awareness-Diagram interpretation and understanding 

Worked within a GMP environment 

Worked within an operational environment 

Competent in use of electronic and automated equipment 

Supervisory experience
