Job Description
The Sr. Material Planning Analyst is responsible for material forecasting, performing advanced planning to ensure materials are delivered on time, and utilizing MS Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems for analysis. The role involves computing requirements and presenting findings to the management team.
ResponsibilitiesForecast materials to ensure timely delivery.Perform advanced planning and scheduling to meet production needs.Utilize MS Excel for data analysis, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.Create and manage Power BI dashboards from scratch.Use ERP systems (such as SAP, NetSuite, etc.) for material planning and inventory management.Compute material requirements and present findings to the management team.Collaborate with production control, planners, and buyers to optimize material flow.Essential SkillsStrong MS Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.Proficiency in Power BI, including running queries and building dashboards.Experience with any ERP system (SAP, NetSuite, etc.).7-10+ years of experience in materials planning, inventory management, or supply chain analysis.Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or Supply Chain is preferred.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in manufacturing engineering.Ability to forecast and conduct data analysis.Strong experience in supply chain planning.Work Environment
The role offers a flexible start time, with hours such as 6am-3pm, allowing for early or later starts. The team consists of a production control manager, one planner, and three buyers. The work environment is within a manufacturing setting.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $94000.00 - $104000.00
