Mechanical Engineer responsible for medical device electronics packaging, including design and development of implantable and peripheral components.
Job Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME). 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering. Experience with FDA 21 CFR 820 Design Controls. Proficiency in Creo or SolidWorks. Preferred Skills: Experience with battery-powered implantable devices. Expertise in microprocessor controller enclosures, external battery enclosures, AC/DC adapters, and peripheral device cabling. Job Responsibilities: Design and develop electronics packaging for medical devices, including implantable and external components. Create and optimize designs for microprocessor-controlled enclosures and battery-powered systems. Design external battery enclosures, AC/DC adapters, and peripheral cabling. Ensure compliance with FDA 21 CFR 820 Design Controls throughout the product development lifecycle. Utilize Creo or SolidWorks to develop 3D models, detailed drawings, and design documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support design verification, validation, and product release activities.Pay Details: $45.00 to $65.00 per hour
