JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Design of complex components and packaging related to the compressor
● Initial layout and sizing
● Detailed design and fabrication specifications
● Preparing production drawings, with appropriate GD & T
● Direct communication with vendors and technicians in manufacturing

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
● B.S in mechanical engineering
● 5+ years of demonstrated mechanical design engineering experience, preferably 'full-stack' with exposure to first principal driven design, equipment/component selection, hands-on builds, bring-up and troubleshooting, test design
● Experience with powertrain/ motor design in CATIA V6.
● Excellent problem solving and communication skills
● Strong analytical background
● Recent Catia 3D experience required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
​​● M.S. in mechanical engineering
● 8+ years of Aviation or Automotive industry experience
● Strong fundamentals in fluid flow
● Experience with instrumentation selection/procurement and data acquisition
● Electrical enclosure design experience​
