Primary Purpose PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION Direct the personnel and activities of the Corporate Customer Operations Enablement Team, including leading and managing activities related to long range planning in collaboration with Customer Strategy, Customer IT, and the Platform Teams. Uses lean portfolio management to provide structure and execution of the portfolio. Management of the Essential Business Services work with the supplier managed vendors, but also development of a resource insourcing plan for key roles. Lead and manage line of sight and tracking of relevant initiatives associated with the customer portfolio (e.g. One Exelon). Participate and organize responses for the various data request regarding customer project inquiries (e.g. various operating company multi-year plans). Development and implementation of processes and tools to oversee and effectively manage the administration of the customer portfolio including long range planning and recasting, status reporting, financials (in coordination with the IT financial analysts, vendor management. Reimagining the ways of working, by leading initiatives drive and manage portfolio governance, team roles/responsibilities, and change management. Assure the focus and attainment of business goals and objectives. Develop and maintain an environment that promotes diversity and high productivity. Champion the use of the corrective action process and utilize continuous learning. Reinforce safe work behaviors and culture. Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies. Note: This is a hybrid position (in-office with remote flexibility). Employees are required to be in office at least three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Preferred locations: Baltimore, Oakbrook (IL) or Philadelphia. Primary Duties PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Manage and advance lean portfolio management processes to advance the corporate customer operations team. Lead long range planning efforts in partnership with Product and Platform Teams, Customer IT and Operating Company partners. Provide reporting and analytics related to the customer portfolio’s strategic, operational and financial health. Manage the Essential Business Services work that are part of the portfolio and product/platform teams from the Request for Proposal through onboarding and day-to-day management. Includes forecasting and capacity planning. Manage and track investments through authorization. Operate utilizing standard processes as defined in the organization and within the Management Model. Oversee process improvement efforts and ensure adoption of advanced processes and procedures. Establish, maintain, and enhance relationships with business and IT partners. Communicate status to key stakeholders, including executive leadership, on a regular basis. Motivate and inspire team members to perform to the best of their ability. Provide coaching and performance evaluation for personnel. Participate in career development and succession planning processes. Promote diversity and foster teamwork, collaboration, and a learning organization. Lead the coordination of responses to various data requests regarding the portfolio including but not limited to operating company multi-year plans. Job Scope JOB SCOPE Management of a team of internal and supplier managed vendors Oversight and administrative coordination of the long range planning for the customer project portfolio. Collaboration with partners including Product/Platform Teams, Customer IT, Operating Company business subject matter experts and leaders. Preparation and tracking for status reporting of customer project portfolio. Utilize understanding of customer's business needs to determine requirements and help set direction. Determine and helps others learn appropriate theories, practices and principles that relate to their skill set portfolio and related sciences and disciplines. Make judicious decisions in familiar and new situations and contributes to strategic decisions. Represent business client’s perspective with IT team. Budget Management specific to area of accountability. Operate independently with little or no supervision. Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in business or related field, with 10 or more years of related experience, including 3-5 years of people leadership experience; or in lieu of bachelor's degree, 12-15 years of relevant experience is required. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of project management tools, techniques, and contracting. Proven leadership ability in a high-performance culture. Proven high-level management skills in coaching and facilitating business competency. Proven performance management skills. Demonstrated ability to build consensus, establish trust, communicated effectively and foster culture change. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process enhancements and efficiencies including technology and performance. Demonstrated business acumen, customer awareness and ability to create value. Preferred Qualifications PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Graduate degree in business or related field. Agile experience or certification. Change management training or certification. Process certifications (e.g. six sigma) Benefits Annual salary will vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: USD $137,600.00/Yr. - USD $206,400.00/Yr.
