A role in Food Safety, Quality, & Regulatory (FSQR) means working in a critical area that will support Target's efforts to identify, prioritize, and minimize areas of food safety risk as well as proactively educate and equip team members by providing simplified tools, processes, and training. The role will inspect floral commodities to forecast issues, lead through quality concerns, and help mediate terms during challenging growing conditions. Team members will communicate quality conditions to multiple business units using multiple formats. **Scorecard Reporting** : During field inspections, team members thoroughly evaluate products and vendors, utilizing analytics to assign performance scores that effectively track quality trends. **Vendor and Merchandising Relations** : This role will establish relations with vendors and suppliers. This person will coach vendors to pack to Target specifications and meet food safety requirements. Experience can be substituted for education. + Degree or coursework in Horticulture, Agriculture, Botany related fields (preferred) + Ability to collect, assemble, and manipulate data to draw conclusions. This includes using data visualization tools effectively to monitor compliance performance. + Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate meetings, resolve conflicts, build consensus, establish rapport, and collaborate effectively, internally and externally, across all levels of an organization.
