**Description**
The Sr. Manager of Talent Development is responsible for supporting and recommending Talent Development solutions for the Business Unit. These functions include managing organization talent reviews and calibrations, as well as advising leaders and people managers on employee development program goals and objectives. This position will also collaborate with the corporate Talent Development team in leading and facilitating leadership development programs and serving as a culture champion for the organization.
**This role is based in Southern California and is hybrid in the office weekly.**
**_Responsibilities:_**
+ Provide expertise and advise leadership on development resources and solutions to support business priorities and advance the Division Talent Strategy.
+ In partnership with the Corporate Talent Development Team, design, develop, and implement divisional talent initiatives.
+ Serve as a member of the Human Resources Extended Leadership Team to support and implement company-wide talent priorities.
+ Facilitate organization talent reviews and calibrations for the division including: 9-box assessments, succession planning, development plan creation, and internal development coaching.
+ Manage the nomination process for all corporate development and training programs.
+ Utilize assessment tools and coaching methodologies to influence high potential development plan creation and reviews.
+ Facilitate in-house and virtual training programs and coordinate various other training programs for diverse audiences.
+ Serve as the key training consultant for branch and team development needs.
+ Administer compensation and performance evaluation programs in partnership with leadership and Finance teams.
+ Assess learning needs and recommend targeted solutions that enhance the effectiveness of the workforce.
+ Lead all organizational development and change management initiatives for the division in partnership with the corporate Talent Development Team.
+ Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of development initiatives and update as needed.
+ Support annual engagement survey process including data evaluation and action planning.
+ Perform other job-related duties as required and assigned.
**_Requirements_** _:_
+ Bachelor's degree required.
+ Minimum of five years of Talent/Organizational Development experience required.
+ Extensive Talent Management /Organizational Development experience including design, planning, and facilitation required.
+ Bilingual in English/Spanish strongly preferred
+ Experience supporting international (Mexico) workforce in talent development
+ Leadership in change management required, Prosci certification a plus.
+ Exceptional facilitation skills and professional presence required.
+ Knowledge and experience using virtual training platforms. Web-ex Training and Microsoft Teams preferred.
+ Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
+ Must be flexible in managing constantly changing priorities and dealing comfortably with ambiguity.
+ Must possess considerable knowledge of people management and the principles, practices, and procedures of Human Resources Management.
+ Must have a demonstrated strong employee and customer orientation.
+ Ability to monitor multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Must have effective interpersonal skills, as well as expert oral and written communication skills.
+ Periodic multi-night international travel to US and Mexico is required (<30%).
Bunzl salary range: $125k-$160k plus bonus eligibility based on experience, education and geographic location.
