Provide inspection, testing and evaluation services at Beaver Valley Power Station. Develop NDE techniques and procedures as applicable

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Required understanding of Mechanical; electrical and I&C work activitiesDirectly evaluate performance of work performed against BVPS and industry standards to determine complianceUnderstanding of materials, material properties, and failure modesWorking knowledge of ASME Codes Section II, III, V, IX, and XIPerform inspections of work being performed in support of BVPSPerform and evaluate test results for dedication/acceptance of parts/materialsObserve and monitor work activitiesPerform document reviews for compliance with specification/code/regulatory requirementsCapable of being certified in NDE techniques (i.e. MT;PT;UT;RT;ET;VT)Capable of using of precision measuring equipment (e.g. calibers, micrometers)Must be able to read and understand construction drawingsMust be knowledgeable in Nuclear construction codes and standardsKnowledgeable in material specifications



Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements

Education as required by regulatory agencies; minimum High school diploma or GED8 years nuclear plant experience; 4 in the area of QC inspection or NDETechnical understanding of multiple nuclear plant processes / programs
