Services: + Program Consulting + Finance Consulting and Billing Services + Applied Technology + Outsourcing and Operations + Strategy + Project and Grants Management + Assessments and Feasibility Studies This position will serve as a Team Lead for the Social Security Benefits Management team within PCG's revenue management project for the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families. An ideal candidate will be a team player with demonstrated expertise related to benefits accounting, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and organize activities for themselves and others, and who is interested in supporting the work of state government and/or human service organizations. **Duties and Responsibilities** + Assist the SSA supervisor with leadership of the SSA benefits management team. Specific duties are at the discretion of the supervisor and may include: + Assuming primary responsibility for one or more activities performed by the team + Reviewing the work of other team members and providing feedback/coaching where necessary + Direct supervision of one or more team members including weekly check-ins, providing direction and feedback, and performance management + Maintenance of a limited/specialized individual caseload + Assisting with preparation for audits and other reviews + Training team members and maintaining/updating standard operating procedures + Identification and implementation of innovations and process improvements + Monitor performance measurements for team activities to help ensure that team meets all contractual responsibilities + Provide information and technical assistance to client and team members, particularly regarding federal and state policies and PCG’s standard operating procedures + Participate in state and federal audit inquiries. + Maintain positive working relationship with the client, project leadership, and colleagues + Foster an attitude of information sharing and open discussion among colleagues + Participate in project leadership team meetings **Required Skills** + Ability to prioritize responsibilities for self and others. + Ability to organize and plan work efficiently within set time limits for self and others. + Understanding of and ability to interpret relevant federal and state laws, regulations, and policies. + Detail-orientation. + Ability to work independently and within a team. + Excellent communication and client-facing skills. + Demonstrates initiative. + Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Work, and Outlook. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel preferred. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree, preferably in related field. Equivalent professional experience will be considered. + 3+ years of relevant work experience. **Working Conditions** + Hybrid office setting.
