As the Senior Operations Manager, you will serve as the site leader for our new manufacturing facility dedicated to producing K-Rounds™. In this role, you will also act as the site launch leader, optimizing efficiencies across the entire manufacturing process, including coffee roasting, processing, and packaging lines. You will plan and execute activities to meet customer product specifications in a timely manner, collaborating with the site team to establish processes that achieve high standards of safety, quality, cost control, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety Champion: Promote and ensure a culture of safety, inspiring team members to take personal accountability for their safety.Compliance: Adhere to site policies, OSHA ergonomic standards, safety requirements, and federal and state regulations, including Keurig Green Mountain guidelines.GMP Adherence: Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure product safety and efficacy.Leadership: Provide direction and leadership to shift leaders, coaches, technicians, and team members.Efficiency: Establish controls to optimize the utilization of production team members and equipment, ensuring timely delivery of customer coffee product specifications.Operational Leadership: Lead and prioritize operational aspects of new facility construction, production line installation, commissioning, and product launches.Performance Analysis: Analyze performance data to identify opportunities for improvement in processing and packaging for both new and existing products.Productivity Improvements: Develop, sponsor, and implement productivity improvements, overseeing production quality performance and conformance. Training and Development: Supervise the training and development of technical and leadership skills for team members, coaches, and shift managers.Performance Evaluation: Continuously evaluate direct reports' performance and ensure timely completion of performance reviews by coaches and staff.Collaboration: Foster collaborative relationships with peers across all departments and within Keurig’s network.Ramp-Up Planning: Plan and implement the ramp-up strategy for the new facility and production line to ensure a smooth and efficient start-up.Cost Control: Monitor and control costs associated with ramp-up activities.
