Job Description

The Sr People Analytics & Reporting Analyst is responsible for creating simple and complex Workday reports and dashboards for a wide array of end users. This role has responsibility for the administration and improvement of reporting processes in Workday and is responsible for understanding Lurie Children’s Workday data in an effort to translate business requirements into understandable and user-friendly reports and dashboards. The information provided by the Sr Workday Reporting Analyst will be used to inform leaders and business processes and will play a key part in decision making for the company. 

Essential Job Functions:

Solve complex problems faced by our leadership by providing scalable analytics and insights about our people and people practices.Consult with key stakeholders to identify the desired outcome they are trying to drive with data and advise on the best methods to reach those outcomes.Create specifications for analysis based on business needs.Identify patterns and insights from people data to help optimize decision making.Develop analytics, tools, and insights in Workday that drive Improved Decision Making about our People, Culture, and LeadershipEnable our people strategies through high quality, compelling analytics that arm our Leaders with the insights they need to scale our business and ensure that Lurie Children’s is a great place to work for all.Develop and execute insights that inform decision making around our people, culture, and leadership.Build and execute insights on our Workday tenant to provide business leaders personalized nudges and suggested actions.Collaborate on research studies to solve key people business issues. Implement research findings in Workday technology through Prism, the People Analytics app, dashboards and other technologies.Drive Automation, Data Governance, and Quality of InsightsAutomate ongoing work by creating standard and repeatable deliverables in Workday leveraging analytical tools to automate as much data insight reporting as possible. Ensure data quality through documenting field and filter usage and following standard guidelines.Establish quality assurance of delivered insights and design testing techniques to ensure accurate results are delivered across the business at scale.Other job functions as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, human resources, information management or related field required.  Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 6 years of directly related experience required.Three years of Workday report writing experience and/or Workday pro certification in Reporting, HCM, Recruiting, or Talent preferred.Must possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in order to interact effectively with and establish rapport with all levels of management and staff employees.Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality relating to employee and hospital information.Strong customer service skills.Problem solving, collaboration, innovation, and communication skills required.

Pay Range

$83,200.00-$137,280.00 Salary

The pay range for this job indicates minimum and maximum targets for the position.
