Position Specific Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented maintenance specialist to join our team. This position will focus on understanding and implementing corrective actions and improvement projects for solar plants. Key responsibilities include coordinating activities to ensure work continuity, efficient scheduling, and effective interface with various fleet organizations on engineering and technical issues.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction: Engage with site engineers and regional managers to gather project specifications for scope definition for corrective and improvements actions. Project Coordination: Organize, plan, schedule, and manage major maintenance projects on solar plants. This includes defining work scope, collaborating with engineering for design and technical requirements, managing bids, issuing purchase orders, and procuring materials. Vegetation Management Coordination | Liaison: Serve as the primary coordinator for all vegetation management logistics. Act as the subject matter expert and liaison with ISC and ROI to ensure vegetation management contracts are current and effective. Special Projects Execution - Serve as a liaison, planner, and facilitator for fleet-wide large-scale projects, including: Major panel replacements, String/cable replacements, CBX replacements, and Inverter replacements (for off-warranty sites) Maintenance Specialist Support: Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Interface with procurement teams for timely delivery of necessary materials and contracts. Oversee contractors and subcontractors to ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines. Regular report on project progress, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders

 

Preferred candidates will have experience planning and execution, familiar with Maximo or other asset management programs, and will have solar execution/construction experience.

 

Travel Requirements: Travel between sites for planning and contractor coordination, approximately 20-30% of the time.  This position will report to the regional manager 1, based out of North Region Solar (Green Cove Springs, FL).
