Sr Planner
Our Materials Department in Chanhassen, MN is growing! We are looking for a Sr Planner to join our team. As our Senior Planner, you are a highly motivated professional with a collaborative spirit, a keen attention to detail and the tenacity to drive progress. Your professional planning experience to meet customer requirements while ensuring the achievement of business and financial goals will be critical to successfully planning, scheduling, and coordinating/monitoring final approval of products through the complete production cycle. Working from engineering plans and production specifications, you will establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements.

Your Challenge
Develops and maintains detailed schedules, production plans and material requirements lists in accordance with the Master Production Schedule, for products, proposal efforts and/or production processes.
Coordinates with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Material Control, Quality and other departments to achieve optimum utilization of facilities in meeting production schedules.
Provides input to management regarding issues such as scheduling problems, material shortages, design changes and backlogs.
Releases and maintains all appropriate paperwork.
Update and maintain accuracy of the ERP system with related planning data.What You Bring
Minimum of 3 years of production, material, or project planning experience.
Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding planning, scheduling, purchasing, supplier selection, inventory control, and logistics.
Lean and/or Six-Sigma experience and knowledge.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and develop effective working relationships.
Self-starter, highly motivated, action-oriented, proactive, collaborative, and results-driven.
