As a Senior Principal Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the International Private Bank, you will play a vital role in promoting forward our technology strategy. You will be responsible for establishing a new team in our strategic India location and integrating that with the global team. You will leverage your expertise in various domains such as Wealth Planning & Advice, Client Onboarding, Portfolio Management, Trading & Order Management, Client Performance Reporting, Investing, Lending, Banking. This role provides an opportunity to influence product owners and guide application teams to create and maintain business process flows for their portfolio. We are looking for someone with excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, and expertise in one or more programming language(s), applications, and architecture disciplines
Job Responsibilities:
Establish the new strategic location for the IPB Architecture & Engineering teams in India and integrate with the global team. Create, manage, and maintain accurate Architecture Current, Target state, and Target State Roadmaps for your application portfolio. Serve as a business domain expert, understanding the business strategy and the technical capabilities required to achieve the desired business outcomes, and take responsibility for functional, data, application, and technology architecture. Influence product owners and guide application teams to create and maintain business process flows for their portfolio. Take responsibility for the data domains, data products, and data models for their portfolio in partnership with product owners, data owners, and application teams. Demonstrate thought leadership and excellence across various dimensions, including strategic thinking and action, change management, driving results, effective communication, and leadership.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience. In addition 5+ years with strong proficiency in software development methodologies, architecture frameworks, design patterns, testing and operational stability Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills Experience establishing vibrant engineering communities and guilds Expertise in one or more programming language(s), applications, and architecture disciplines Demonstrated prior experience influencing across functions and teams to deliver modern architecturePreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Wealth Management technology experience working across Wealth Planning & Advice, Investing, Lending, Banking with cross-asset experience including Fixed Income, Equities, and Alternatives preferred.
