Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking experienced and motivated engineers in the following areas: RF/Microwave Hardware Architecture and Integration & Test, to join our dynamic and growing organization. The qualified candidate will work closely with a diverse and talented team of engineers, developing innovative and cost-effective Next Generation Multifunctional AESAs that support a broad range of Mission Systems products. Applicants are expected to apply strong leadership and advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts to contribute to the development of novel AESAs and Received/Exciter architectures. This position will support our Advanced Engineering Business Unit, located in Baltimore, MD.
The candidate should have demonstrated technical expertise, leadership, and experience in one or more of the following areas:
Active electronically scanned arrays (AESAs) and/or Digital AESAsHighly integrated subsystems including DREX and Antenna HardwareSubsystem requirements (hardware and software) derivation, flow-down, and configurationDocumentation/generation of test procedures, test reports, RF requirements, data analysis, data presentationDigital Beam FormingAntenna/RF Hardware Performance AnalysisSubsystem Control DesignEmbedded real time software and digital systemsConducting Test Readiness Reviews and/or Design Readiness ReviewsFamiliarity with RF subsystem development & analysis tool including Keysight ADSComfortable creating RF applications and tools using MATLABSet up and test hardware in a lab/bench top environmentDevelop test plans to support engineering development effortsExecuting subsystem and system level testing – both in engineering development and manufacturing environmentsConcept development of operation for integration and test activitiesBasic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related discipline with 8 years of experience in the areas described in the job description or 6 years of experience with a Masters Degree, or 4 years of experience with a Ph.D. An additional 4 years of experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree.Active DoD Secret ClearanceAbility to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) Clearance3+ years of experience working in with RF HardwareExperience leading a team of engineersStrong interpersonal and people management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to effectively present to engineers/ leaderships/ customersAble to work both independently and as part of a teamAble to multi-task, delegate, and prioritize tasks effectivelyWillingness to work on site at our facility located in Baltimore, MDPreferred Qualifications:

Salary Range: $131,100.00 - $196,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
