Overview:
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Principal Risk Management Analyst to drive financial and operational excellence for the Corporate Risk Management Department. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to manage financial activities including cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, allocations, reporting and compliance for the Department including Property & Casualty insurance, Workers’ Compensation insurance, Northrop Grumman’s Captive insurance companies and department budgets.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can manage complex tasks independently with strong business acumen, advanced SAP S/4 and Excel skills, and the ability to clearly and confidently communicate complex financial concepts to cross functional teams and senior leadership. The ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders, critical deadlines and ensure timely deliverables is paramount to the success of the role.

Roles and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Develop Forward Pricing Rate Proposals (FPRP) and Incurred Cost Claims (ICC) while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.Develop balance sheet recognition for self-insurance program within Property & Casualty FPRPOversee cost accounting, cost allocations, amortizations, cost tracking, variance analysis, journal entries and accurate forecasting of enterprise insurance expenses.Maintain cost structures, create charge numbers and issues charging guidance to stakeholdersManage Corporate Risk Management Department and Workers’ Compensation COE budgetsLead audit responses (DCAA/DCMA, SEC, captive insurers) and serve as a liaison with brokers and captive management teams.Collaborate with stakeholders to implement process improvements, enhance efficiencies, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.Present insights on budget trends, risks, and opportunities to senior management while maintaining timely deliverables.Other duties and special projects as assigned.Qualification Skills
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Insurance or related business management field8+ years of experience (6+ years with a Master’s degree) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Insurance or related Business Management roles.Advanced proficiency in SAP S/4 and Microsoft Excel.Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of GAAP and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).Familiarity with risk management, insurance and insurance captives.Experience with audits and compliance.Proven ability to develop rates, budgets and forecasts at a corporate level.Why Join Us?

Salary Range: $113,500.00 - $170,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
