Sr Process Excellence Specialist

As a Senior Process Excellence Specialist, you will analyze and implement new product creation processes, related tooling, documentation, and drive continuous improvements. Working alongside engineers and adjacent business partners you will facilitate the implementation of standard work, Lean process improvements, and teach best practices. The Senior Process Excellence Specialist's scope of responsibility begins with change ideation and ends with process implementation in Product Development departments across operating units globally. With this position you will assist our research and development department and its partners in product management, mechanical engineering, and embedded systems to deliver innovative products to global customers. Our goal is to design efficient and effective business processes that foster seamless collaborative communication.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

Define and drive standardized processes and metrics to support new product creation.Lead overall planning, development, and delivery of multiple complex process development projects.Work with stakeholders to ensure organizational and business readiness for each process release.Identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities.Align the focus of continuous improvement efforts with the objectives and strategies of KION across new product creation processes globally.Build strong partnerships to align activities and resolve conflicts to achieve project goals.Build teams across functional areas, diverse cultures, and teach them the tools and practices to solve complex problems.Lead workshop events, acting as an advisor to facilitate troubleshooting and resolving complex needs within Product Development functions across the European/North American offices.Communicate honestly with stakeholders to facilitate discussion and decision-making.Develop and maintain process training information and documentation to ensure clarity across department roles.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, and/or Project Management preferred

Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, and/or Business preferredBusiness analyst skills to understand and prioritize stakeholder requirements required.Minimum 5 years of process improvement/continuous improvement experience; 10+ years preferredExperience in Process mapping, Business Process Mapping Notation preferred.Advanced knowledge and demonstrated ability in the application of concepts, practices, and procedures of Lean/Six Sigma (LSS/SS Black Belt required)Experience with designing products or processes (DFSS and/or Design Thinking desired)Exceptional team building skills desiredDemonstrates effective interpersonal skills and the ability to exercise influence without authorityExcellent communication skills including verbal, written, white-boarding and presentation.Lean / Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred Fluent in English
