\nAs a Sr. Procurement Project Specialist here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for providing support to FDA – White Oak Campus and University of Maryland Campus, in managing procurement services. You will play a critical role in ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment across the procurement function in these two large and complex campuses. You will work out of our White Oak Campus office, located in Maryland on a Hybrid Work Schedule. In this role, In this role, you will impact the successful execution and delivery of procurement services and materials by leveraging your expertise in project management, cost savings, and process improvements across our procurement operations. Through your leadership, you will ensure that procurement projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n- Handle the entire procurement process from initiation to completion, including supplier selection, negotiations, contract management, and delivery.
\n- Ensure services are executed within the defined scope, budget, and timeline.
\n- Participate in the implementation of strategic sourcing practices, identifying cost-saving opportunities and maintaining strong supplier relationships for value and innovation.
\n- Assist in assessing and mitigating procurement risks, including supply chain disruptions, compliance issues, and quality control.
\n- Lead supplier negotiations and contract management to secure favorable terms and conditions.
\n- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
\n- Drive and execute the Annual and Strategic Growth, Productivity, and Working Capital Plan, along with supporting strategies.
\n- Develop and manage relationships with key supplier leaders.
\n- Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand their needs and align procurement strategies accordingly.
\n- Participate in vendor evaluation and performance measurement programs to track and improve supplier performance, quality, and delivery.
\n- Support the management of the procurement budget, allocating resources efficiently, and seeking cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality standards.
\n- Collaborate with suppliers and other stakeholders to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
\n- Ensure procurement activities adhere to relevant regulations and compliance standards, including ethical and sustainability practices.
\n- Contribute to the establishment and enforcement of quality control standards in procurement processes, conducting regular inspections and performance assessments.
Must Have's:
\n- Extensive experience in procurement and project management.
\n- Proven track record of successfully managing complex procurement projects.
\n- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
\n- Proficiency in budget management and financial acumen.
\n- In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management
