Foot Locker is currently recruiting a Sr Product Manager, eCommerce to oversee our Cart and Checkout experience. This person will be responsible for helping define and execute the strategic direction of our online shopping experience. This individual relies on their deep understanding of the target market/industry to collaborate with business domain partners and subject-matter experts to identify solutions, unlock digital assets, and solve complex problems.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who’s passionate about all things Digital Experience and enjoys leading a cross-functional team, focused on leveraging new technologies, building and A/B testing new features and functionality as well as partnering with talented, like-minded individuals (Product, UX, Merchandising, Analytics, etc.). This is a high visibility role and will require you to build strong relationships throughout the company in order to meet aggressive goals all aimed at increasing market share and taking Foot Locker’s online presence to the next level. Your primary responsibility as Sr Product Manager, eCommerce will be to work with your team and stakeholders in translating your vision into a delivery roadmap that considers organizational milestones, sequencing, capacity constraints, and dependencies. You will identify, build, and manage strategic partnerships with other teams and groups in the organization to improve overall delivery effectiveness.
Responsibilities Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and communicate a compelling product strategy and vision for global ecommerce experience, supporting multiple regions, languages and markets, aligning with Foot Locker’s business objectives. Lead Agile Pods: Support agile methodologies within your team, focusing on delivery and value creation against aligned objectives and key results (OKRs) Roadmap Development: Create and manage a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines prioritized features, enhancements, and innovates for our online shopping experience. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering, design, merchandising and other departments to ensure successful execution of product initiatives. Foster a culture of collaboration and cross-functional communication. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs within the eCommerce space and utilize insights to drive product decisions. Customer Insights: Deeply understand customer behavior, preferences, and pain points through user research, data analysis, and direct interactions and translate insights into actionable product improvements. Product Development: Lead end-to-end product development processes from concept to launch ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery of products. Performance Metrics: Define and track objectives and key results (OKRs) for your area of responsibility. Regularly assess product/funnel performance and iterate on strategies to drive growth and customer satisfaction.Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate product updates, progress and insights to executive leadership, stakeholders, and relevant teams within the organization. Qualifications A minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Management, with a focus on eCommerce Shopping Experience. Bachelor's degree required; an MBA or Master's degree is a plus. Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of eCommerce best practices and the features and strategies that provide an outstanding and memorable online shopping experience.Familiarity with retail industry trends and best practices is essential. Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to think strategically, define product strategies, and translate them into actionable plans that drive business outcomes. Leadership Skills: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and inspire others to achieve product goals. Communication: Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data-driven insights to make informed decisions. Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and build strong working relationships across the organization. The annual base salary range is $150000 - $165000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
