The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for sustaining sequencing platforms within the Clinical Next-Generation Sequencing Division. In this role you will establish and maintain relationships with Customers, R&D, Sales, Field Support, Marketing, Finance, Manufacturing, Operations, and Customer Service. A successful candidate will demonstrate integrity, lead with intensity, embrace innovation, and champion involvement across functions to support our products and our customers.

Key Responsibilities :Provide day-to-day product management advice in support of our sequencing platformsLead sustaining activities for on market platforms and assist marketing teams in developing application based and regional marketing plansOwn the product roadmap with a short, mid, and long-term viewServe as main point of contact for commercial and operations activities for new platform launchesConduct market oversight to stay ahead of customer needs and emerging competitorsCollect Voice of Customer to gather new or validate existing product requirements to ensure our products continue to meet our customer’s needsBuild and present executive level reports to supervise the health of the business and propose product initiatives for greatest business impact

Requirements :Talent for leading and managing through influenceAbility to collect, synthesize and explain sophisticated concepts simply and clearly to different audiences including customers, commercial team and the executive levelSkilled in crafting financial models to justify investment in new product initiativesPassion for solving problems including critical thinking and tactical execution skills Prepared to travel both national/international up to 30% of time

Minimum Qualifications: will require

Minimum 5 years of experience in a product management role for a life science platform and/or consumable products, Bachelors in systems engineering, molecular biology, biochemistry/biophysics or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications: nice to have

Master’s in business (MBA) or PhD preferredPrevious experience in Product Management of next-generation sequencing technologies with a track record of launching, sustaining and growing products in this space

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $155,900.00–$195,000.00.
