About the team and the role:The Affiliate Expansion Initiative at eBay is focused on building a world-class platform for long-tail affiliates, micro-influencers, and Enthusiast Buyers to curate, share, and monetize eBay’s extensive inventory through social media and messaging channels. This initiative will build a new performance-based marketing channel, improving eBay’s social presence and driving engagement from a growing pool of partners.
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and execution of this initiative. You will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver an innovative, scalable, and intuitive platform that meets business goals while providing an outstanding experience for partners. You will have the opportunity to craft how eBay’s affiliates and influencers engage with the platform and drive social commerce growth.
What you will accomplish:Define and implement the product vision and strategy for the Affiliate Platform & Partner Experience.Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals and partner needs.Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and business teams to prioritize and develop features, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience.Develop and implement a product-based strategy to attract and onboard long-tail affiliates, micro-influencers, and Enthusiast Buyers, making the platform accessible, scalable, and engaging.Lead the design and launch of key features, such as personalized storefront creation, affiliate tracking integration, product recommendation tools, and performance dashboards.Use data-driven decision-making to optimize user experience, partner engagement, and program scalability.Work closely with the marketing team to create messaging that resonates with target partners and supports eBay’s growth objectives.Monitor KPIs, partner feedback, and competitive trends to continuously improve the platform, finding opportunities for new features or enhancements.Champion a customer-first attitude, balancing business goals with user experience to deliver value to both partners and eBay.What you will bring:Education: BS or MS in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields; MBA preferred.Experience: 5+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of leading sophisticated, cross-functional projects.Deep experience in building and launching B2B or B2C platforms, ideally with a focus on e-commerce, affiliate marketing, or social commerce.Solid understanding of product management standard processes, including defining product roadmaps, conducting market research, and leading cross-functional teams.Expertise in creating seamless user experiences, with a focus on self-service and scalable solutions for affiliates and influencers.Data-driven approach, with experience in using analytics to drive product improvements and measure success (familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude).Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, able to translate business goals into actionable product strategies.Experience working in agile environments, balancing multiple priorities, and delivering high-impact features.Bonus Experience:Hands-on experience with affiliate or influencer marketing platforms.Familiarity with social media platforms and tools for tracking performance metrics.Experience managing and growing product teams.Prior work in a fast-paced, high-growth company.Why Join Us?

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.
$149,200 - $234,850Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
