The Global Senior Product Manager will develop and implement global product strategies to accelerate the growth of the BioProduction business. Reporting to the General Manager of the Peptones business, the Product Manager will be leading the Animal-Origin Free Peptone product portfolio, and supporting market analysis, planning, and commercial strategy. Key success metrics of this position are revenue growth, portfolio profitability, and new product success.

A successful Senior Product Manager creates and implements mid-range product strategies, guiding fiscal planning, and nurturing successful launches through commercialization. This is a role that requires intensity and innovation to work cross-functionally to translate customer needs to new products. Key responsibilities include:

Be a key opinion leader (KOL) for their product line internally and externally, representing AOF Peptones and Thermo Fisher ScientificResponsible for revenue, margin, customer experience, and market share objectives.Maintain close relationships with field organization (e.g., sales and technical support) through training and active participation in the sales process, including customer visits, participating with pricing tactics, and customer support.Lead strategic collaborations for product partnerships and new product development. Lead cross-functional teams with R&D, operations, commercial groups and external partners to implement programs.

Preferred background/Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in scientific field strongly preferred, Master’s in scientific field or MBA strongly preferredMinimum 6+ years, product management, R&D or market development experience.  Experience working directly with customers and leading cross functional teamsKnowledge of global cell culture markets and competitive landscape. Self-starter with the ability to create and implement plans with minimal direction. Strong management, project management and planning skills, and comfortable making decisions and adopting changes.
