Sr Product Operations Specialist
Position Overview: Product Operations is responsible for the development and commercialization of an offering portfolio by improving execution and governance of strategy and process. The Product Operations team works closely with Offering Managers and cross-functional departments, such as engineering/R&D, manufacturing/sourcing or software development, internal sales and field sales, marketing, as well as Honeywell senior executives to maximize the growth, development and return on investment of the organization’s product portfolio today and in the future. The Senior Product Operations Specialist is a key role responsible for optimizing and managing the operational aspects of product management. This senior-level position involves overseeing product lifecycle processes, ensuring efficient processes within Offering Management and New Product Development, and implementing strategies to enhance product performance and operational efficiency. The role requires a deep understanding of product operations, offering management, product management, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. Location: Rosemont, IL or Charlotte, NC Work Schedule: 3/2 hybrid after first 90-days with Honeywell Ideal Candidate: + Strong operational and project management skills, with experience in managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. + Knowledge of product lifecycle management, offering / product management, and process improvement + Experience implementing Honeywell Global Design Models (GDMs) within the business + Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. + Ability to collaborate and effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. + Experience with the Honeywell UOP Business + Excellence communication, writing, and time management skills + Ability to work in a fast-pace environment with a consistent sense of urgency and accountability Key Responsibilities: Process Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to optimize product operations and streamline processes. Identify opportunities for improvement and lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and marketing teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of product-related activities. Facilitate communication and resolve any operational issues. Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product operations. Prepare and present reports on operational performance, trends, and areas for improvement. Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee product lifecycle stages, including product introduction, ramp-up, and phase-out. Ensure that product transitions are managed effectively and that operational impacts are minimized. Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to manage product availability, inventory levels, and distribution. Address any supply chain issues and implement solutions to maintain product availability. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to product operations and businesses processes. Prepare and present detailed reports on operational performance, process improvements, and strategic recommendations. Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and address operational concerns. Use feedback to drive improvements and enhance customer satisfaction. Training: Design, implement, and support Training Programs for the Offering management team including Accelerator modules, Z21 processes, and Learning Hub. The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates. The annual base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
