As a Sr Program Controls Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in managing and directing the control and oversight of various aspects of a project, such as scheduling, cost management, risk assessment, and reporting. You will report directly to our Program Controls Manager and you will work out of our Glendale, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on the organization's financial health, operational efficiency, risk management, stakeholder relationships, and overall success in delivering projects and programs. By effectively managing these aspects, Sr Program Controls Specialists contribute to the achievement of organizational goals and objectives.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Subject Matter Expert in development of initial program baselines (cost or schedule) for high-risk development programsPrepares and analyzes reliable internal/external cost or schedule report data for program stakeholdersResponsible for EAC (estimate at completion) management on complex and high-risk programs.Performs reliable cost-walk and cost analysis for program stakeholdersLeads compliant baseline change managementEnsures cost and schedule integration are aligned to scope and contract requirementsGuide the program controls function for projects and programsDevelop and implement project planning and scheduling strategiesMonitor and control project costs and budgetsIdentify and mitigate project risks and issuesAnalyze project performance metrics and provide insights and recommendationsWork with cross-functional teams to ensure project successEnsure compliance with project management standards and best practices

The annual base salary range for this position is $99,400 - $124,200. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

Minimum of 6 years of experience in program controls, project management, or related rolesStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong understanding of project management ethics and methodologiesExperience with project planning and scheduling toolsExcellent communication and people-oriented skills
