The Senior Program Controls Specialist is responsible for overseeing program control functions, including budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and reporting on project performance. This role typically requires collaboration with project teams, management, and stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
\nIn this role, you will report directly to our Sr Program Controls Manager and work out of our Houston, TX location on a hybrid work schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
\n\nCost Management:\n\nDevelop and maintain program budgets and forecasts.\nMonitor expenditures against budgeted amounts and provide variance analysis.\nEnsure all financial transactions are properly recorded and accounted for.\n\nReporting:\n\nPrepare regular reports on program performance, including cost reports, schedule forecasts, and milestone tracking.\nPresent findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.\n\nProject Controls:\n\nEstablish and implement project control processes and tools.\nTrack project progress and performance metrics.\nIdentify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.\n\nCollaboration:\n\nWork closely with project managers and team members to support project execution.\nAssist in the development of project schedules and timelines.\n\nCompliance and Governance:\n\nEnsure compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as external regulations.\nParticipate in audits and reviews to assess program controls.\n\n\n\n

YOU MUST HAVE
\n\nExtensive experience in program controls, project management, or financial analysis.\nProficiency in project management software and tools (such as Primavera, MS Project, etc.).\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\n\n\n
WE VALUE
\nBachelor's degree in engineering, finance, business administration, or a related field.A certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) or cost management (CCMP).Experience in the energy sector or similar industries can be a plus.\n\n
