Sr Program Manager

ASE is looking for a Sr Progrma amanger to manage multiple projects and programs. Preferred experience in the field of overall management. Provides technical oversight and support across multiple tasks and projects. Requisite responsibilities include directing and/or supervising personnel, providing management support in the form of organization, directing and coordinating, planning and execution of all program/technical support activities. Possesses information technology experience and experience in effectively communicating with higher echelon personnel in order to interface with all levels of management. Assigns duties and a review work of subordinates and establishes and alters management structure as necessary within the program to effectively direct program/technical support activities. Meets and confers with government officials regarding the status of specific program/technical activities and progress. May provide expertise in the field of resolution of problems, issues or conflicts as required. Ensures that program schedule, performance, and cost deliverables are met.

Responsibilities

Manages multiple and/or large programs to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives.

Manages the work activities for multiple programs to ensure satisfying delivery.

Manages the planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery.

Tracks progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators, and prepares reports to senior management.

Responsible for managing activities of external consultants and/or vendors.

In-depth understanding of the field's concepts and principles.

Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions. Supervision may be provided through a team of subordinate supervisors and/or managers.

Administers departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies.

Typically requires BA and 8-10 years.

Qualifications

Education & Experience : Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited University in the field of Business, Law, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering and a minimum of seven (7) years of continuous experience in the field of C4IT engineering/logistics support and/or management.

A current Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate is required.

A Secret clearance is required.

Pay Range

$150,800
