Responsibilities:
Responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through to completionIdentification, evaluation, and prioritization of risks followed by coordinated and economical application of resources to minimize, monitor, and control the probability or impact of unfortunate events or to maximize the realization of opportunitiesCollaborates with stakeholders to document project scope, deliverables, goals, risks, blockers, success measures, and estimated resources needed.Lead agile, collaborative, RF& Digital-based product development teams. Lead technology development activities in a leadership role across geographically disbursed sites. Develop and drive roadmap and implementation of business growth objectivesExcel as an interface to customer technical representatives, co-contractors, and sub- contractors in fast-paced, high-visibility, delivery environment.Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, Management, Engineering or related fieldRelevant experience may be considered in lieu of required educationTypically 10+ years of progressive experience in project or program managementTypically 5+ years leading large scale projects; scope spanning multiple years, while leading teams made up of 10+ cross functional membersExperience with the evaluation of requests for proposals and/or quotes. Experience with preparing, reviewing, and submitting proposals and/or quotes.Experience with managing multiple large-scale projects, or portfolio of projects up to a large independent program.Experience with ensuring compliance with approved Corporate and ISO 9001:2000 Policies and ProcessesExperience in team building, time management, conflict resolution, communication, briefing, presentation, strategic thinking, marketing, and literacy in the program management disciplines.Demonstrated financial acumen to ensure decisions are fiscally sound and responsible.Requires ability to manage complex situations, delegate authority, lead and inspire your team, drive innovative thinking, instill collaboration, drive for success, challenge status quo, and demonstrate the ability to adapt to dynamic situationsRequires ability to execute, coordination of all elements of a program, i.e., Program integration management. Perform task coordination, resource development, stakeholder identification, etc. Capability to manage program lifecycle conflicts, prioritize competing priorities/requests, and evaluate available resources.Requires ability to identify, assess, and control financial, technical, and legal risks.Proficient leadership abilities inclusive of successful change management, mentoring, career development, training, succession planning, holding people accountable, and conducting yearly reviewsUnderstanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS)The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance will be required.Qualifications We Prefer:
Prior military experience or government civilian experienceExperience leading personnel and teams, especially multi-disciplinary design/development/engineering teams or programsStrong communications skills, especially in relation to communicating with program management, customers, stakeholders and engineersFamiliarity with preparation and development of proposals and contract performance activities, including project estimates, technical proposals, and program cost and schedule management, CDRLs, MS Project, risk management, resourcing/staffingPast history of leading baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of highly integrated trade studies and analysis of alternativeProfessional Certification in Program Management International (PMI) and/or Program Management Professional (PMP)Background in the Aerospace and Defense IndustryThe ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Security ClearanceSNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
