The Global Engineering Services Sustainability and Automation team is seeking a dynamic, organized self-starter to lead ongoing development initiatives for Amazon’s award winning Collision Avoidance Program and integration autonomously guided vehicles for the growing fleet of Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) and related technologies for the world-wide Fulfillment Center network.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the long term roadmap of feature development and bug fixes
- Facilitate the integration of new autonomous vehicle products into the Amazon PIT saftey ecosystem
- Lead the Amazon response to quality issues and incidents.
- Manage vendor relationships, drive performance improvements, and short/long term goals.
- Rapidly engage and understand complex technical systems, providing sharp root cause analysis to issue resolution
- Create and drive imitative updates to Senior Leadership, planning, and execution teams
- Inputs and support on better Project Management tools and processes
