The Sr Program Manager, is a leader in the PLM/PMO organization responsible for developing and driving executional strategies to optimize business outcomes for a product or product line. The Sr Program Manager is responsible for maintaining and guiding the development projects and other initiatives in the domain with consistent engagement of all stakeholder across a complex global organization. They recognize and analyze complex problems and either resolves them or drives resolution with the team of senior leaders. They are individual contributors who indirectly manage large and globally distributed teams. The position is equivalent to a senior manager role in other parts of the organization.


Measurement of Success:

The Sr Program Manager is measured by how well business objectives are achieved and how well business continuity is provided: how well operational, regulatory, and product development constraints are balanced, and how well the business is performing against the plan.

Detailed role definition:

Leads cross-functional, global teams to optimize the development and launch of new products and product extensionsManages the overall projects, supports input to future business cases, collaborates with business stakeholders to set priorities, tracks project execution, and maintains transparency of all activities; is the escalation path for risks in the domainLiaises with business and R&D leaders to ensure proper steering of the product line and to define responses to changes in the operational, regulatory, market and product development domains and ensures optimum balance of the product line activitiesIs responsible for identifying and managing intra-program and inter-program risks, developing options, and facilitating decision making with multiple stakeholdersInteracts with technical experts, operations personnel, program managers, overall portfolio team and product owners to facilitate the management of technical dependencies, business dependencies, legal, regulatory, or operational constraintsIs accountable for maintaining plans that support compliance to the quality system in a regulated environmentDefines and collects executional key performance indicators and takes action based on those as requiredWorks through the different levels of the organization to report and constantly re-assess risks and mitigation plansOperates with globally distributed teams and a large number of stakeholders
 

Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge:

Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in related field of study and sound related experienceStrong program management skills: planning, tracking, project risk management, stakeholder managementExperience managing projects/programs in a regulated environment – preferably in medical devicesUnderstanding of agile methodologies & practical applicationYou are analytical, communicative and focused.You work structured and have an eye for details. In addition, you can express your ideas and research in written formYou are used to working independently, open to discussing ideas and solutions with your colleaguesYou thrive in an international work environment and in cultivating your contacts with partners in the US and overseas

The base pay range for this position is

Min $158,900 - Max $285,900

The pay wage range shown is based on the job posting's primary location. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
