Sr Program Manager I

Compass Point is hiring a Senior Program Manager with experience and expertise managing a diverse team to support the DOJ Justice Management Division (JMD) Office of the Chief Information Officer, (OCIO). This position is responsible for leading a team to develop DOJ wireless communications strategies and to coordinate wireless applications, spectrum management, and other wireless programs across the Department. Responsibilities

Manages multiple programs to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives.

Manages the work activities for multiple programs to ensure satisfying delivery.

Manages the planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery.

Tracks progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators, and prepares reports to senior management.

In-depth understanding of the field's concepts and principles. Leads and directs the work of other employees. Administers departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies.

Prepare reports, budgets, presentations, and other materials in support of the Justice Wireless Program (JWP), and other DOJ technology programs as directed.

Assist with business analysis, communications, planning, and execution of DOJ technology programs.

Assist with administration of the Wireless Communication Platforms group and other OCIO directorates, including but not limited to the JWP administered by the Wireless Communications Board (WCB).

Assist with implementing and maintaining project management methodologies to support IT service delivery and operations. Serve as the primary point-of-contact for the client agency for all matters pertaining to the contract.

Responsible for the identification, evaluation, and mitigation of schedule, technical, and performance risks associated with the contract.

Prepares and maintains program management deliverables such as the Project Management Plan; weekly status reports; daily compliance reports; ad hoc reports as requested; transition plan.

Drives process improvement efforts, capture lessons learned and make recommendations for improving the processes and policies for future activities.

Qualifications

10 years of experience managing organizations similar in size, scope, and complexity

Demonstrated experience working with customers to assess needs and problem resolution.

Eligible for Top Secret Clearance with SCI access.

Have demonstrated and utilized a knowledge of the mission, charter, roles, and responsibilities of U.S. Government agencies or Law Enforcement agencies.

Excellent analytical, organizational, management, and communication skills are required.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Management Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related discipline

Pay Range (The pay range for this job level is provided as general guidance only, and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. $122,268.73 - $208,254.67
