Knowledge:
High knowledge of lean and 6 Sigma tools
Knowledge of general principles relating to gas turbines, their control systems and packaging enclosure system. Ability to apply these principles and to be able to direct people of lesser experience in the performance of turbine assignments relative to the
support of major projects
Problem Assignments:
Provides solutions to a wide range of technical problems of moderate complexity. Independent and thorough reasoning in rapid response to production stoppage, developing schedules or potential field problems.
Freedom to Act:
May direct and review work of others. Independently determine technical objectives. Complete work is reviewed
for desired results.
Project Responsibility:
Would typically plan small projects involving other disciplines with responsibility for monitoring design work.
May be technical leader on assignment with responsibility for monitoring work of others.
Liaison:
Frequent routine contact with other organizations and customers. Would be expected to act in lieu of lead project engineer in their absence and interpret data to relay to other groups for immediate action if required.
Business Contribution:
Results in assignments have a direct bearing on project completion and the effective uses of resources and therefore contributes to project profit and customer satisfaction
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree
Master’s Degree
5-7 Years with B.S.
