Job Description
Actalent is seeking to hire a Project Manager, who will be overseeing the planning and implementation of projects, including budgeting, hiring team members, sourcing suppliers, and planning the project release. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set to effectively manage project timelines, resources, and client communications. Strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of project management methodologies are a plus.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop project plans that identify resource and budgetary needsHost project meetings at least once a week with team and managersProvide feedback, advice, project updates, and encouragement to team membersManage deadlines and push the team to ensure timelinessCoordinate with vendors and suppliers as neededEssential SkillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in project management software4+ years of project/program management experienceExperience working and overseeing large-scale projects from NPD through to final productExperience using ERP systems at a high levelExperience overseeing designs and specifications within ABS rules and USCG regulationsExperience interfacing with customers and other departments to meet deadlinesB.S. in an engineering fieldAdditional Skills & QualificationsPMP certificationExperience working in shipyard, marine, construction, or large complex fabrication industriesExperience working in DOD/DOT projects involving certain levels of quality controlExperience working with clients and extensive interpersonal skillsWork Environment
The individual will be working fully onsite with the ability to work a flexible schedule, coming in earlier or later depending on morning and afternoon commitments outside of work. The position requires being in the office 90% of the time, collaborating with other PMs and engineers. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $150000.00
