**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Sr. Project Manager, you’ll navigate the complex world of project delivery, guiding teams toward successful outcomes. This multifaceted role includes planning activities, coordinating resources, managing risks, and communicating with stakeholders. This job is part of the Project Management function. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion. Some travel may be required to remote sites.
This is an onsite position in San Antonio, Texas.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Exceptional communication skills: Articulating project goals, expectations, and feedback clearly to all stakeholders.
+ Strong leadership: Inspiring and guiding the team to maintain alignment and motivation.
+ Problem-solving abilities: Utilizing critical thinking, data analysis, and informed decision-making to overcome challenges.
+ Time management: Prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
+ Oversee all phases of project management including procurement, contracting, planning, tracking, and execution.
+ Ensure that contract procurement, negotiation, execution, administration, and closeout are accurate, timely, and compliant.
+ Identify complex project risks, lead reviews, and develop risk mitigation and backup plans.
+ Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
+ Develop project plans that identify resource and budgetary needs
+ Host project meetings at least once a week with team and.
+ Provide feedback, advice, project updates and encouragement to team members and stakeholders
+ Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness
+ Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed
+ Mentor and coach as needed.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans.
**What You’ll Need:**
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 -10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and CCM designations preferred.
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Knowledge of project management software and tools such as MS Project, etc.
+ Skills in identifying and mitigating risks
**Preferred Experience**
+ Experience in renovations, electrical and/or mechanical construction or relocation projects.
+ Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines.
+ Balancing multiple projects and navigating complex organizational dynamics are key
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Analytical skills to identify and solve issues
+ Efficient in managing time and meeting deadlines
+ Skills in identifying and mitigating risks
+ Experience in the areas of vendor selection, training, development, mentoring, and retention is preferred.
+ Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
+ Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
+ Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
