It is a fully remote role that will need to be based in the U.S. or Canada You must meet our U.S. or Canada Eligibility requirements for work authorization as noted under How you'll make an impact Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Team. In this role, you will lead and oversee the due diligence and early integration phases of our M&A activities for Gallagher’s P&C division across the Americas. You will also play a crucial role in integrating acquired companies (merger partners) and optimizing business processes to achieve strategic objectives. How you will make an impact: Due Diligence Phase Lead and coordinate the due diligence process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess the financial, operational, legal, and cultural aspects of potential acquisitions. Develop and execute a comprehensive due diligence plan, including coordination of data collection, analysis, and risk assessment. Lead due diligence process as single point of contact for merger partner, deal broker, and buyer’s deal team - coordinating meetings, follow up tasks, and critical items to get to deal close. Share due diligence findings to senior management and stakeholders via written due diligence reports. Produce onsite DD meetings and meeting materials. Integration Phase Collaborate with numerous functional leaders to develop a detailed integration plan that aligns with the organization's strategic goals and enhances overall operational efficiency. Run calls & meetings to promote good communication and accountability among functional teams executing post-close integration activities - including technology integration, workforce alignment, process optimization, and cultural adoption. Monitor and manage integration project timelines, milestones, and budgets. Address challenges and roadblocks that arise during the early part of the integration process, ensuring swift resolution. Stakeholder Engagement Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, throughout the M&A process. Communicate project progress, risks, mitigation steps, and outcomes to senior leadership, executive teams, and relevant functional areas. Process Optimization Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies within the organization and acquired entities. Collaborate with process owners to design and implement standardized and streamlined processes post-acquisition. Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness of integration processes, advocating for adjustments as needed. About You Skills for Success: Strong understanding of business strategy and operational processes in the insurance agency/broker space. Strong communication, professional empathy, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, executive leaders, and communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to multi-task. Willingness to be flexible with schedule. About You Required: Bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience. Proven experience (3+ years) in project management. Preferred: Prior experience leading M&A due diligence and integration efforts is a plus.
