Sr Project Manager (Part-time as Needed)

The integrated full-service solutions leverage a 97-year legacy in event management as well as new technologies to deliver moments that matter. **Summary** The Senior Project Manager applies industry knowledge to communicate and harmonize Freeman client's production requirements; improving efficiencies, controlling costs and providing a seamless flow of information. Works with branch operations and Sales representatives prior to, during, and after the event to ensure successful delivery of all production requirements. This role will help cover special events for intermittent periods of time with scheduled hours fluctuating weekly. This position will support our Audio Visual and Event Technology team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week based out of Las Vegas, NV. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities** + Participates in site surveys as needed to ensure proper planning of events + Participates in the planning and implementation of operational activities for assigned events Creates/reviews Vectorworks designs within Company standards to ensure proper execution of the event as requested + Works with regional operations to ensure completion of production documentation, assess labor calls, and define equipment requirements + Maintains a clear understanding of union jurisdictions and how they are to be applied Reviews equipment requirements to determine personnel and labor schedules + Determines staffing needs based on budget and ensures that all labor requirements are submitted to Labor team + Supervises show site operational functions to ensure they are performed safely, and in a timely and cost-effective manner + Communicates client objectives and operational plans to show-site staff + Ensures pre-production meetings are scheduled and assists with facilitation + Maintains daily contact with on-site staff documenting changes & updates as required + Assists in the scheduling and coordination of trucking arrangements + Develops production schedules, and facility arrangements for events as required + Responsible for verification of hours worked for each crew member, including submitted required paperwork to Payroll and Accounting departments as needed + Performs other duties as assigned **Education & Experience** + Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required + Minimum of 7 years of Audio Visual and industry experience, 10 years preferred + Must have a strong knowledge of the convention, tradeshow and hotel industry + Must have a strong understanding of the budget and billing processes for shows + Clear understanding of union jurisdictions and how they are to be applied + Excellent Microsoft Office skills required + Strong logistical knowledge required + Strong time management skills required + Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions + Ability to execute complex general sessions including projection blends, mapping, LED, flown line array systems, moving lighting system, and entertainment. + Experience with large scale specialty exhibit booth projects **Travel Requirements** Travel 50% to 75% **What We Offer** Our part-time as needed positions are not benefit eligible; however, these roles are eligible to participate in: + Retirement with Company Match **Diversity Commitment** At Freeman, our commitment to diversity and inclusion is helping us to create not only a great place to work, but also an environment where our employees, our customers and our communities around the world can reach their goals and connect with each other.
