Responsibilities: + Design, develop, and deploy microservices written in Python on AWS, focusing on data ingestion, processing, and validation. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to map source to target systems using database configurations and ensure seamless data integration. + Implement robust data validation, error handling, and logging mechanisms to ensure data quality and integrity. + Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles to create scalable, maintainable, and efficient code. + Show initiative by proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing solutions to enhance system functionality and end-user experience. + Participate in code reviews, adhere to development best practices, and contribute to a culture of technical excellence. + Utilize Pytest to ensure code is functioning as expected and has proper coverage. Take a TDD approach when developing, red light, green light. Requirements: + Proven experience as a Python Developer, with expertise in developing cloud-based applications (AWS: Lambda, Glue, EC2, S3, etc.) and testing frameworks like Pytest. + Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design patterns. + Experience with data manipulation, processing, and validation techniques. + Familiarity with RESTful API development and consumption. + Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git). + Self-starter with the ability to take initiative, manage projects from inception to execution, and work independently as well as part of a team. + Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
