What You'll Be Doing

Oversee QC for 9 agg plants, Philadelphia portables, Downingtown recycleProvide technical guidance and support to ~8 indirect reportsMonitor/manage day to day compliance with specifications/targetsHeavy engagement with QC Techs on testing, customer complaints, statistical trackingPerform hands-on lab work as requiredMust be available as required for nights/weekendsEngage with Operations, Sales and Construction on product quality, bid specifications, etc.Annual update of state required PennDOT QC plans, also ensure compliance throughout yearOversite of daily DOT certificationsIdentify continuous improvement opportunities (product and yield optimization)Implementing required standards, processes in HM labsImplement corrective action for any deficiencies found in labs or TechniciansTraining and development of new Technicians

What Are We Looking For

PennDOT Aggregate Technician certification preferred. Must be willing and able to pass the certification if it is not currently heldSolid computer skills, MS Excel experience is requiredDemonstrated basic math skillsMust be able to left over 50 lbs. on a regular basisAbility to work overtime as neededAbility to work independentlyStrong communication skills to interact with customers, contractors and plant personnel
