Shift time will be 6AM – 4:30PM Monday – Thursday, OT on Friday

How Will You Make an Impact?:

As Sr QC Technician at our Single Use Production Facility, you will be responsible for inspecting various types of Bioprocess Containers assembled in a clean room environment. You will carry out the inspection process by closely following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instruction Documents (WID) and Process Control Documents (PCD) for comparing assembled products to the blueprint and product configuration requirements. This position requires following cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), as well as, cGDP (Current Good Documentation Practices) and working in a fast-paced team environment.

A Day in the Life:Follow all safety requirements and cGMP guidelinesFollow work instruction documents and standard operating proceduresComplete Quality Control Inspection Practices for in-process and finished goodsInspect products against detailed instructions, blueprint drawingsCommunicate errors in real time to Production Line Lead to initiate correctionsGather error data in the appropriate Production and QC documentsEducation:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:Required: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in QA or QC or related fieldPreferred: Experience in a cGMP environmentKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:Ability to read, understand and inspect to Blueprint Drawing and Configuration requirements.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesGood verbal/written communicationAbility to adhere to Good Manufacturing Principles and other Regulatory guidelines for inspection and documentation

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for 10 hours a day, with additional overtime as required.The ability to enter the clean room as needed. Clean room is a controlled environment with a humidity of 30% or greater and a temperature between 60⁰ and 70⁰ F. The Clean room has some ambient noise.Specific gowning requirements include, but are not limited to gloves, hair net, beard net, face cover, safety glasses with no makeup / jewelry or piercings.Position requires forceful gripping/grasping and repetitive motion including pushing and pulling.Ability to use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and understand chemical hygiene including labels and SDS (Safety Data Sheets), common chemicals used include- disinfectants, solvents and IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol 70% and 99%).Ability to inspect bio-process containers on a light table for an entire shift.Ability to stand and move about including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping and lifting.Ability to use hand tools and equipment including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, pulling and repetitive motion.Ability to lift and manipulate up to 40 pounds unassisted as needed.What We Offer
