American National is seeking to hire an experienced Senior Quality Analyst to join our team!
Your Impact:
Review and understand business requirements (user stories, specifications, acceptance criteria, process flows, etc.) Identify questions related to the provided requirements and seek resolution in order to improve upon the clarity/testability of requirements Identify and estimate the tasks required to complete assigned projects Collaborate with technical and business experts to understand business and technical risks associated with assigned projects Author test plans, scenarios and cases that satisfy the needs of users and clients Take part in test plan walkthrough meetings with business users to ensure their needs are met, and to help plan out the best test approach Execute manual test cases and document test results Identify, log and retest software bugs Future plans to design, support and maintain test automation scripts/infrastructure Future plans to schedule and run automated tests and monitor/report upon results Report status of assigned activities accurately
What You Will Need to be Successful in this Role:
4+ years experience in software testing Basic knowledge of fundamental business concepts Knowledge of computer technology including experience with Microsoft Office products Must be able to work in fast paced environment with constant change Must be self motivated, team oriented and able to operate with minimal oversight Strong written and verbal communication
Our Preferences:
4+ years’ experience in requirements analysis, test design and test execution Experience creating and maintaining automated tests scripts Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Math or Business Insurance industry experience Test automation experience with tricentis tosca commander
Salary for this position can range from $64798.50 for candidates who are minimally qualified through $97188.00 for more highly qualified candidates. Candidates outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill and education.
