As a Qualcomm Quality Engineer, you will plan, implement, and manage compliance of design, development/manufacturing, production processes, and/or quality requirements with safety, quality, and regulatory standards for worldwide distribution. Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 2+ years of Quality Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's Degree in Applied Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 1+ year of Quality Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Applied Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

Required for this role:

5+ years of experience in automotive SW quality engineering.Experience in conducting work product audits, process audits, according to ASPICE, process compliance with ISO9001:2015 and driving quality issues to closure. Certified internal quality auditor (ISO9001:2015)Knowledge of industry standards / models – ASPICE, ISO26262, ISO/SAE 21434, ISO 9001:2015Experience in auditing Automotive Functional Safety, Automotive CybersecurityPreparation and presentation of SW product quality status including- SW product quality metrics, audit metrics, top quality issues and risksExperience working in matrix organizations, driving teams to process adherenceKnowledge of SW development processes is a mustProblem solving: Methodologies and skills, knowledge and experience of 8D methodologies, in depth understanding of Root cause analysis methodologiesWell conversant with statistical charts and data interpretationExperience in data-driven process improvementExperience in process documentation, and knowledge of process framework, hierarchy, guideline developmentFamiliarization with Jira, Confluence, Stages, Codebeamer, Tableau, BI dashboardsExperience in running Software quality CCB meetings

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Applied Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related areasBlack Belt/Six Sigma certification.Certified ASPICE provisional assessor is preferredCertified Lead quality Auditor (ISO9001:2015)ASQ (e.g., CQM, CQE or CRE) certification or equivalent.ISO26262 FuSa engineer and ISO/SAE 21434 Cybersecurity training2-3 years of experience in software development preferred  

 

Summary of Responsibilities:

Software Product Quality engineering support for Automotive Software ProductsConduct Internal ASPICE and Safety Audits to ensure conformance to ASPICE Requirements and ISO 26262.Publish and track Software Quality Metrics.Excellent written and communication and presentation skills.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$94,600.00 - $141,800.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
