Sr Quality Engineering Manager

Lead a Quality organization at the Tijuana site that applies\nits expertise and knowledge in finding innovative, cost-effective means to\nimprove quality output and continuous improvements working with Operations,\nEngineering, Operations AME and Sourcing. You will lead the strategic direction\nand initiatives that ensures compliance with customer requirements, regulatory\nagencies, government regulations and engineering specifications while\ninstilling site accountability for governance of the Quality System, product\nacceptance and, product quality.

Key Responsibilities

Maintains\n and monitors quality performance metrics. Leads the deployment of quality\n improvement strategies through functional teams, and coordinates with\n support functions to ensure customer quality satisfaction.Leads\n the development and deployment of quality assurance best practices\n throughout site; define yearly goals & objectives aligned with\n business strategies; support implementation teams to ensure Quality\n leadership goals are met, as well as the assessment and action planning of\n maturity path to Quality Vision.Implement\n process-based quality system by creating methodology for process yield\n reporting.Development\n and proper execution of the internal and external audit program to measure\n the overall compliance and effectiveness of the quality management system.\n Ensure compliance to contract and customer requirements and safety\n regulatory requirements.Document\n work through work instructions and policy and procedures and ensure proper\n implementation of those requirements. Resolve\n quality related issues with suppliers, customers and production through\n strong cross functional leadershipDevelop\n and deploy a Management Review process that requires site leadership\n engagement, to assure the effectiveness of the site’s overall Quality\n Management System (Audits, RCCA, VOC, Regulatory compliance, etc). All\n aspects of Quality Assurance as well as interfacing with manufacturing to\n ensure proper flow of information and data for continued product support.Hire\n train and develop quality team at the site.Participate\n in Lean/Six Sigma activity to drive continuous improvement across the\n site.Facilitate\n and execute projects leading to standardization, simplifying, and\n improving existing quality systems, and utilize Root Cause Corrective\n Action (RCCA) investigations to evaluate and prevent \n escapes/defects. Strong COPQ reduction program leadership is expected at\n site.

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor's\n Degree in Engineering (MBA is highly preferred)10+\n years of experience in Quality for manufacturing operations5-7\n years of managerial experience.
