As a Sr Quality Engineering Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a\ncrucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products in our\nDayton, OH location. You will work closely with the Quality Engineering team to\nperform various testing and inspection activities, analyze data, and identify\nareas for improvement. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will\ncontribute to the success of our quality control processes and the overall satisfaction\nof our customers.


In this role, you will have a significant impact on our quality control\noperations by conducting thorough inspections, analyzing data, and implementing\ncorrective actions. Your ability to identify and resolve quality issues will be\ninstrumental in maintaining the highest standards of product quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process components,\nand finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Analyze test data and identify trends or patterns that may indicate quality\nissues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve quality\nissues, implementing corrective actions as necessary
• Maintain accurate documentation of test results, inspection reports, and\nother quality records
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control\nprocesses and procedures
• Provide technical support and guidance to production teams to ensure\nadherence to quality standards

YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineering Technician or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools
• Experience with inspection and testing techniques
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) certification
• Experience with statistical analysis and data interpretation
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
