As a Sr Quality Systems Administrator here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our systems and processes. You will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our quality management systems, ensuring they align with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Your expertise in quality systems administration, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities will be essential in maintaining the highest level of quality and compliance within our organization.
You will report directly to our Quality Systems Manager and you'll work out of our Baton Rouge, LA location.
In this role, you will impact the overall quality and compliance of our operations, ensuring that our systems and processes meet the highest standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions to enhance our quality management systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee and optimize the quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Provide training and support to employees on quality management systems and processes.

In October 2024, Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.
YOU MUST HAVE
+ 5+ years of experience in quality systems administration or a related field.
+ Strong knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
+ Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities and organizational skills
WE VALUE
+ Bachelor's degree in a related field.
+ Experience in the energy or manufacturing industry.
+ Quality management certifications (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Quality Engineer).
+ Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles.
+ Experience with auditing and inspection processes.
+ Experience with ISO 9001 & CGMP
+ Experience with document control systems
+ Quick response and proactive mindset to drive results
+ Ability to lead/drive change, and influence/mentor others
+ SAP experience
