Job Description Summary
As the Sr. Reliability Specialist, you will provide leadership, expertise, and direction to facilitate a culture of continuous improvement in the maintenance department. The primary purpose of this role is to evaluate work processes, identify losses, and develop and implement strategies to deliver improved equipment reliability. These strategies will include but are not limited to, the development of systems and standards to improve the skill level of the department, improve job plans, drive to root cause, and increase department efficiency. Provide coaching to team members and ensure compliance with all Company safety programs, initiatives, and procedures.Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs.Maintain equipment hierarchy to facilitate the gathering of equipment repair history and equipment cost.Analyze and evaluate maintenance downtime trends.Provide recommendations and data for equipment reliability improvements, including equipment improvement, improved preventative maintenance plans, and improved predictive maintenance plans.Provide support for efficient troubleshooting/problem-solving activities and maintenance repairs to maximize efficiency and minimize downtimeSupport Engineering and Maintenance Manager to create and execute a maintenance and capital budgetAssist in managing maintenance department costs within budgetary targetsIdentify critical spares and work with procurement to ensure inventory levels are appropriateProvide coaching to maintenance team leaders on area reliability improvementsPerform and assist BDEs (Breakdown Elimination) and technical analysis to identify equipment failures and execute permanent countermeasures to prevent future lossesParticipating in VSU (Vertical Start Up) and EM (Early Management) pillar activitiesEnsure new equipment is captured in CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System), maintenance specifications, warranty, and recommended spare parts are entered.About You

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 7 plus years experience in Manufacturing3-5 years of Supervisory experience3-5 years of experience in statistical data analysis and lean manufacturing principlesLeadership skills to work as a mentor to peers and subordinatesExcellent communication and presentation skillsHigh level of proficiency in working with Microsoft ExcelIntermediate computer skillsPreference will be given to candidates with a CMRP (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional) certificateLANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
