SR Researcher

We are seeking a Senior UX Researcher to join our dynamic team. As a Senior UX Researcher, you will play a crucial role in understanding user needs, behaviors, and motivations to influence the design of products and services. This position requires a talented individual who can lead the development and execution of user research programs, ensuring that user-centered design principles are applied to deliver intuitive and valuable user experiences.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors, Anthropology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in UX Research, preferably in a senior role Proven experience in conducting user research activities such as usability testing, user interviews, surveys, persona development, and journey mapping Demonstrable experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating effectively with stakeholders A strong portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables Experience working in design for ecommerce, retail, and/or supply chain General Requirements Proficiency in using UX research tools and software Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate user needs, pain points, and behaviors effectively Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable recommendations Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills Preferred Requirements Experience working with Agile/Scrum development teams is preferred

Essential Functions

Lead the development and execution of user research programs, considering both user needs and business objectives Plan, conduct, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative user research, including usability testing, contextual inquiries, surveys, interviews, and competitive analysis Collaborate closely with Product/UX/UI designers, product managers, and engineers to translate research data into innovative design solutions Develop and maintain personas, journey maps, behaviors, and workflow analyses Foster a culture of test and learn, establishing best practices and methodologies for user research Communicate research findings and insights to stakeholders effectively Advocate for the user throughout the product development process Perform other tasks as required
